Objectives
Leadership is managing people and projects, and therefore an effective leadership demands effective communication, and an awareness of the human qualities essential to the relationship with colleagues, organizations, or society as a whole.
Success in business means identifying other peoples´ talents, making good use of them, and engaging them in order to make a positive impact on one´s business and, by extension, on one´s community. This course aims to make students aware of all aspects of effective communication, so that they may develop their own leadership skills as well as those of others, in order to make a successful, ethical contribution to the world around them.
Prerequisites
Subject matter
-Building a dilemma strategy to create a positive discussion while training oral communication skills;
-Analysis and discussion of recorded interviews and speeches;
-Common communication mistakes. Developing listening skills and giving the right feedback;
Focus on the way we communicate with the Media, how it can distort and manipulate information, its power, and how it can influence our own opinions and the way we communicate.

Evaluation method
Students are expected to be on time, come prepared to take notes and bring preparation work to all sessions. Lack of preparation may be considered by the instructor as inability to fulfill session goals and equivalent to missing the session (and failing the course).
