Teaching method

Teaching is done in tutorial form, with students working daily in the various activities of the Maxillofacial Surgery Service (CHLC).

In the Curricular Unit of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery theorico-practical classes are taught using the structured exhibition theme, accompanied by computerized audiovisual means, and the iconographic use of multiple case histories, dealing with all the topics covered, documented by photographs or films , looking at the discussion with students.

Very extensive materials and difficult organization, the lesson is presented in a structured and attractive way, reflected in an elaborate and well detailed summary that allows the conceptualization of subjects, by students in class time, facilitating further demand and purchasing knowledge by himself.

The educational material considered relevant is available on the e-learning platform of the NMS|FCM -UNL.

Evaluation method

Continuous assessment: 50%

Final examination: 50% (multiple choice test)
