Sources and meaning of the wearisome nature of ethics (Kierkegaard and Butler).
Ethics as practical science and its meaning.
Doctrine/science and care of oneself: nature of the opposition.
Configurations of care of oneself.
Notion of volitional necessity (Harry Frankfurt).
