Objectives
To achieve the Level A2 of the Common European Framework:
1 - Being able to understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g.: very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
2 - Being able to communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
3 Being able to describe in simple terms aspects of their background, immediate environment and matters in areas of most immediate need.

Subject matter
1 Listening and reading activities from authentic documents (newspaper articles, TV reports, audio and video recordings, etc.).
2 - Activities of written/oral interaction: simulation of authentic oral communication situations.
3 Speaking and writing activities of various text types (descriptive, narrative, explanatory, argumentative and dialogical).
4 Various activities for the acquisition and consolidation of grammar and vocabulary necessary to achieve the performance of different communicative tasks (level A2.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference)

Teaching method
Communicative method seeking to stimulate interaction and engender increasingly autonomous learning.
Intercultural approach which raises the students awareness of cultural diversity carrying out tasks which draw on linguistic and extra-linguistic competences.
Evaluation method
Continuous assessment (20%) + 2 written tests (50%) + 1 oral test (30%)
