Objectives
1. Acquire linguistic, methodological and cultural skills, allowing students to develop their academic performance or start a professional career in archaeology.
2. Do inedited original research.
3. Formulate relevant research problems, testing methods, developing hypotheses and synthesizing existing knowledge in the field of archeology.
4. Learn how to organise ideas and present results in a clear and proper way.
Prerequisites
Subject matter
Dissertação is the result of a substantial and profound research, which deepens the work developed in the classroom. Students will be supervised according to the 11th article course regulation.

Teaching method
Dissertação is oriented by one of the courses academic staff, following the principles of tutorial supervision previewed in the regulation of the master, according to the 11th article, and the general rules for masters in FCSH-UNL.
Evaluation method
The Dissertação will be evaluated according to the 15th article of the course regulation.
