Objectives
a) Updating, deepening and systematization of scientific knowledge relative to the Research Methodologies in Ancient History; ;
b) Characterization of the major historical sources and reference works of ancient Egypt;
c) Ability to articulate and relate the events and and the traces archeological, artistic and textual Egyptians with the natural, political, social, economic, cultural and mental features of the Egyptian civilization;
d) Acquisition and / or development of tools for the analysis and questioning of the mental and material life of the ancient Egyptian civilization, based on its archaeological, artistic or textual productions;
e) Stimulating the appreciation of the artistic and mental values of ancient Egypt, in a scientific, rational and thoughtful way.

Teaching method
The various working sessions set for this course will all be theoretical and practical. Additionally, a power point will be used with slide illustrative of the subjects discussed.
Evaluation method
The assessment includes the following elements:
- Final essay - 50% / 10 values
- Oral presentations - 50% / 10 values.
