Objectives
a) Ability to identify, analise and present relevant and original topics of research, and deliver an original and publishable contribution to the development of knowledge in the disciplinary area.
b) Writing and oral argumentation abilities to present and discuss research in the academic fora of the discipline.
Prerequisites
Conclusion of Doctoral Course (1st year).
Subject matter
To be selected according to the students research topics. Specific analytical perspectives will be reviewed as part of the supervised mentoring.

Bibliografia específica adequada à tese de cada estudante. / Dependent on the nature of each students thesis research
Teaching method
A wide range of teaching and assessment activities, scientific monitoring, supervision, workshops with invited speakers who have done research in the domain of the current projects, integration in research units will prepare students for their autonomous work.
Evaluation method
The final classification will be given after the public discussion of the PhD thesis before a jury.
