Teaching method

The curricular unit is theoretical and practical. The theoretical component is expository.
In practical classes is promoted discussion from land use planning and guidance of practical work, prepared in groups (no more than 4 students), each student responsible for a specific part of the work. Besides the final delivery is presented first interim report of the work (includes the index, the methodology and preliminary development of each index points). This preliminary report receives a note from the teacher. The delivery of the final report is accompanied by the oral presentation of the group (up to 15 minutes), with participation of all elements. The practical work is done in a real context, based on an analysis of a land management tool and applying an assessment methodology.

Evaluation method

Evaluation:
i) the frequency [60%]
ii) Practical work [35%]
iii) Attendance and participation in class (minimum 60%) [5%].
