Objectives
a) Actualização, aprofundamento e sistematização dos conhecimentos científicos relativos à concepção divina da realeza e à formulação e manifestação do divino nas suas diferentes enunciações;
b) Caracterização das principais fontes históricas e obras de referência da Realeza e do Divino no Egipto Antigo;
c) Capacidade de articular e relacionar as manifestações e os vestígios arqueológicos, artísticos e textuais egípcios com as características naturais, políticas, sociais, económicas, culturais e mentais da civilização egípcia;
d) Aquisição e/ou desenvolvimento dos instrumentos de análise e de problematização da vida material e mental da antiga civilização egípcia, a partir das suas fontes arqueológicas, artísticas ou textuais;
e) Incentivo ao apreço pelos valores artísticos e mentais do Egipto Antigo, de uma forma científica, racional e ponderada.

Teaching method
The various working sessions set for this course will all be theoretical and practical. Additionally, a power point will be used with slide illustrative of the subjects discussed.
Evaluation method
The assessment includes the following elements:
- Final essay - 50% / 10 values
