Objectives

a) To integrate the doctoral researcher in a specific research environment;
b) To master the quaestionis status of the problem that the investigator research;
c) To complete and apply methodological knowledge;
d) To facilitate access to research tools (databases, specialized libraries, GIS).

Subject matter

The Final Report is developed within the FCSH Research Units, mainly the CICS.NOVA. The work done by students must be inserted in their area of expertise, with a strong tutorial component. It will be required to meet the following requirements:
a) Domain of theoretical knowledge
b) Research capacity in social sciences and humanities
c) Compliance with the steps of the research work
d) Research methodologies
e) Communication (written and oral) research.

The privileged content of these seminar are:
- Consultation, manipulation and insertion of sources in the research;
- Consultation and proper integration of databases;
- Analysis and textual hermeneutics ;
- Correct preparation of quaestionis status of the central theme of the seminar .
