Objectives
In this discipline electric and magnetic static fields, as well as their temporal variations are studied, whose phenomenology is summarized in the physical-mathematical formalism of Maxwell''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s equations. These equations will be studied in both differential and integral formalisms, and several applications to concrete engineering situations are illustrated.
The goal of this course is to teach thinking skills, qualitative and mathematically, that can be applied in different circumstances to the every day life and to enhance collaborative problem solving skills.

Teaching method
Lectures (2 x 1,5 h) with data-show.
Availability of the study material in the internet (Power Point) .
Problem solving classes (2h) with student participation.
Experimental classes in the laboratory with groups of two students per experimental work.
Each experimental class includes experimental procedure and production of a small data registration report.
The operating rules of the experimental classes are harmonized with those applied in Física III.
