Objectives
Objective
Aiming at the global aspects of lasers (principally solid state lasers), the discipline of optoelectronics will focus on the most important concepts in this area so that the students can understand and apply the fundamental concepts to the practical experiments related to solid state lasers. Through the computational simulations by software’s like ZEMAX and AUTOCAD, and also through the discussions of topics on one specific area, the students are expected to gain the most recent knowledge of optoelectronics. This discipline will enhance the interests of the students about the fantastic world of lasers and will stress the importance of this discipline for renovating the industry and for the complete training of students from physical engineering and other areas.
