Teaching method
The methodology followed on this discipline involves the planning of teaching units corresponding to the programme of the 3º ciclo and Ensino Secundário. For each of the subjects to study in both courses students should develop lesson plans, or a sequence of lesson plans in order to structure the process of teaching and learning. These plans will be subjected of a simulation in the classroom, in order to test their potential and discuss the difficulties resulting from its implementation.
Evaluation method
The evaluation will be continuous and will be based on:
- The participation of students in the work of the classroom,
- The execution of two individual works based on the development of plans for a set of classes,
- The presentation and discussion of unity and lesson plans,
- The realization of synthesis and reflections on two of the themes of the program, its presentation and discussion,
- The concretization of written reflections about the work developed in classes.
Students who are not present in at least two thirds of classroom hours will have to perform additional work and may still have to do a final exam.
