Objectives
This course is intended for students of Conservation and Restoration and aims to give students a basic understanding of the concepts of General Physics, in particular the physics of radiation and their applications to various diagnostic procedures in the conservation and restoration of Art Works. Basic optical concepts and their applications in measurement instrumentation, elasticity, strength of materials and capillarity, above all the fundamental aspects which lead to materials degradation
