Objectives
This course is aimed at introducing the main concepts that are relevant for the development of policies aimed at promoting sustainable development and promoting their application in a real-world situation. It is expected that students develop the following competences:
-Understanding of the main concepts and tools for the formulation of sustainability policies;
-Capacity to apply a system dynamics approach in the formulation and evaluation of strategies and policy proposals for key sustainability issues (e.g. at an organizational level or for a given real-world problem);
- Capacity to understand the relationship between sustainability strategies and competitiveness in private organizations and national contexts;
-Capacity to interact with real world organisations and experts on sustainability issues
- Capacity to undertake teamwork and share knowledge in a group environment.
-Communication skills and conducting autonomous research.
