Objectives

This course will examine the major tenets of corporate social responsibility along with its antecedents and outcomes. It will also discuss the role of business in society and ethical leadership. The main topics addressed are:
- Role and responsibility of businesses in society;
- Debate over CSR;
- CSR in Action;
- Social Entrepreneurship;
- Outcomes of CSR;

This course will employ a variety of teaching methods including case studies, experiential exercises, lectures, individual and group research, written assignments, and presentation. Students are expected to be highly engaged in class activities and discussion.
