Objectives

- To draw the orthogonal projections of a particular piece.

- To choose the sectioning planes and their cutting surfaces, necessary for a perfect understanding of the drawing.

- To recognize the drawing elements that must not be cutted and represent them.

- To recognize the drawing elements where dimensioning must be done.

- To draw the orthogonal projections of a particular piece, using a CAD software tool.

- To buid a 3D model from the orthogonal projections of a particular piece, using a CAD software tool.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of drawing and geometry.

Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows 7 / 8 operative system.

 Ongoing assessment :

 - 2 Tests (T1 e T2).

 - Exemption of final exam obtained with test average (TA) greater than 9.5.

 Assessment by Final Examination:

 - Examination test (E).

Part II – Computer Aided Design (Computer Lab.)

 - CAD Assessment  (CAD)

Final classification:

 - With exemption of final exam:60% MT + 40% CAD.

 - Without exemption of final exam: 60% E + 40% CAD.
