Objectives
Specific objectives: (a) Basic knowledge in energetic conversion for the energy generation, thermic and/or electric, monitorization techniques and consumption control; (b) Energy and environment equilibrium; (c) At the level of the process and equipments the focus will be on pyrolisis and gasification and in the processes of treatment and valorization of biomass and residues. The basic knowledge will be essential for the decision of the strategical options, either at the policy or at the technique and technologie levels.
Specific expertise: (a) To define, conceive and select components and equipments, to project and control the construction and maintenance of energy production facilities and equipment; (b) To plan and coordinate the energy facilities and systems; (c) To conceive ID&D projects for process improvement or for new energy processes and technologies and/or the optimizedmanagement of energy systems; (d) To conceive and/or to support the implementation of energy policies, including the area of science and technology.
