Objectives
The course consists on the implementations of practical work on the areas where the lecturers of the Telecommunication Sector develop their research work (sensor networks, web applications, software defined radio, smartphone applications, routing, network planning, network configuration, etc.).
Prerequisites
No previous background is needed.
Subject matter
Network and communication systems simulation (mobile ad hoc and celular networks);
Configuration of network equipment;
Data gathering in wireless sensor networks;
Development of applications for mobile devices.
