Objectives

At the end of the module, students should:
To know the state of the art of healthcare financing organizations;
Identify and analyze healthcare financing methods;
Understand hospital financing in Portugal: logic, advantages and limitations.

Teaching method

Teaching methods are based on: oral presentation, working groups and
individual investigation. The evaluation is based on individual work (70%) and
a group work (30%). The details of the evaluation are presented in the first
session of the course.
