Objectives
– Understand the fundamental concepts of project management;
– Identify and explain the main project management success criteria and factors;
– Describe the project life cycle;
– Understand the project management knowledge areas: scope, time, costs, quality;
– Define the project risks and opportunities and mitigation strategy;
– Understand and explain a budgeting strategy in project managment;
– Apply project management monitoring and controlling tools;
– Understand and apply the most important project manager behavioral competences;
– Understand the IPMA model of competences in project management;
– Be able to build a project management plan and apply it as a management tool;
– Describe the most important EU funding mechanisms for public health;
- Develop a project plan using Microsoft Project.

– Basics in project management (e.g: project, operation, program, portfolio and project management);
– Health planning methods and project management;
– Success criteria and success factors in project management;
– Management of the project lifecycle and PMBOK;
– Planning and managing project management nuclear areas: scope, time, organization, quality, risks;
– The project plan and other planning and control mechanisms;
– European and national funding mechanisms for public health projects and programmes;
– Human resources management in projects;
– Behavioral skills in project management and IPMA model;
– Leadership, motivation and negotiation in projects;
– EU Funding mechanisms for public health;
- Microsoft Project essentials.
