Objectives

 

1- Know the information technologies in the field of interoperability and decision-making;

2 know the importance of the supply function in hospitals;

3- understand the processes of hospital logistics (supply and pharmacy);

4- Knowing the determinants of hospital architecture and ergonomics;

5- To transmit facilities and equipment development lines.

Prerequisites

 

University degree.

 

Subject matter

 

Materials management, Procurement and Stocks-concepts and functions; Economic methods of Stocks Management, legislation; processes of hospital logistics; data interoperability; decision support systems; The hospital architecture - history and current challenges; Hospital ergonomics; Facilities and equipment in the field of efficiency.

Teaching method

 

The classes will be taught through oral exposure and case studies complemented with external visits.

The evaluation is based on an individual work (90%) as well as participation and attendance. The details of the evaluation are presented in the first session of the curricular unit.
