Objectives
We aim to prepare students for employment as researchers both in academy, industry or clinical laboratory. Therefore the students are strongly encouraged to attend different seminars given by experts of this field in order to be fully updated about the research and methodologies currently developed in this area.
Prerequisites
Attendance to a minimum of 10 Seminars/year
Subject matter
Seminars will be taught by professors and invited researchers, both experts in the topics presented, which should be highly relevant for the educational objectives of this Doctoral Program.
Bibliography
Teaching method
Annual participation in 10 seminars organized or indicated by the Doctoral Program. In case the student conducts their thesis work outside UAlg, this participation may be replaced by an equivalent one, taking place at the host institution of the doctoral student. The ECTS will be awarded by the Course Committee upon proof of course attendance at seminars, as described in the regulation.
