Teaching method
The syllabus is completely aligned with the UC learning objectives. In chapter one an introduction to eating behaviour concept is made and its determinants are elucidated, anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, their symptoms, nutritional diagnosis and nutritional recommendations and dietetic approach will be addressed. In chapters 2 to 7 different metabolic non-transmissible chronic diseases are addresses, as well as their nutritional recommendations and dietetic intervention adapted to the treatment/prevention. In the last chapter, chapter eight, nutritional recommendations and dietetic intervention protocols will be presented for the most common diseases of the digestive tract and renal system.
Evaluation method
Theoretical classes (lectures of an expositive nature, directed to large groups);
Theoretical-pratical classes (they integrate an expository component and an interactive component, directed to small groups).
The evaluation will be made taking into account the following parameters: clinical cases discussion (50%), examination (50%). Students with a grade equal to or great than 10 (0-20) values in each of the evaluation elements, are approved.
