Objectives
According to Regulation N. 821/2016, which contains the normative of the MSc in Medicine of the NOVA Medical School, the structure of the 6th year includes a clinical clerkship with a total of 54 ECTS.
This work experience is organized in partial clerkships, in rotation through several clinical areas. Besides doing separated reports for each clinical area, students are expected to produce a final report to be discussed at the end of the academic year. Student is entitled to receive support by a Supervisor, regarding the preparation of the final report.

Evaluation method
Assessment:
The assessment system of the Clinical Clerkship is grounded on the marks of each rotation followed by the public discussion of a final report. The final report includes all the partial reports and a reflexive summary. The public discussion of the final report requires that students have successfully completed all partial rotations during the 6th year.
The calculation of the final grade of the Clinical Clerkship is done by the weighted average (using ECTS) of the marks obtained in all partial rotations plus the final report. The final grade is calculated by the next formula:
(S x 8) + (GO x 6) + (M x 9) + (GFM x 6) + (P x 7) + (MH x 6) + (FR x 12)

The partial rotations may be made under mobility programs, provided that the final probation report is presented and discussed necessarily in the NOVA Medical School | FCM-UNL.
