Objectives
1. Be aware of the contemporary models of organization in the newsrooms, identifying and understanding the new routines that frame the journalistic production process.
2. Assimilate the rules of the current Orthographic Agreement.
3. Assimilate the legal and deontological rules of journalistic activities.
4. Understand the importance of mastering writing techniques in order to produce quality informative contents.
5. Improve the technical competences needed for the adequate journalistic treatment of information through the written media.
6. Know how to deal with informative sources in order to produce accurate and impartial news.
7. Discover the newsworthiness of facts according the editorial guidelines of each media and the expectations of their target audience.
8. Master the techniques for the selection and treatment of data in each journalistic genre, and in its most diverse forms.
9. Understand the ethical peculiarities of opinion journalism and research journalism.
