Subject matter
We will introduce to the concept of praxis as a fundamental ethical one. We will concentrate on the analysis of Aristotle´s Nicomachean Ethics and the Stoics, as grounding authors in antiquity and then move the authors of modernity. What is the meaning of action in authors like Kant, Fichte, Scheler, Wittgenstein and Heidegger? In what way does praxis is the specific horizon where the \"being\" of humans take part, along with poiêsis, tekhnê and physis? Is there a specific circumscription to morals, customs, ethics or our conduct? Is there an expansion to the specific horizon of the universal being in each of the humans? How can we understand the relationship and behavior of each of us with each other? Will it entail \"practice\" with \"everyone´s way of understanding\" life? Is praxis the authentic expression of the human being? Is it \"doing\" or \"acting\" our being´s most authentic expression?
