Objectives
a) To present the regional and local development basic concepts;
b) To analyse and discuss the regional and local development fundamental models;
c) To pass over a set of knowledge on the territorial competitiveness and resilience models;
d) To convey knowledge on governance and entrepreneurship;
e) To point out the importance and significance of the inter-connections between regional development and territorial planning;
f) To supply competences on the EU Cohesion Policy.

Expositive and participative teaching; discussion of case-studies; field work.
Evaluation method
Written essay with oral presentation,followed by open discussion [40% of the final grade].
Written test [60% of the final grade].
