Objectives
1. Using the concepts of plan, program, programming, design, cultural design, function of the museum, model management, network and system, applying them, and heritage museum in the universe, according to a specific case or context.
2. To characterize the methodological principles and the main phases of museum planning and programming , both from the perspective of the institutional space of the museum, or in its territory of intervention.
3. Identify key stakeholders in the planning and programming of an entity museum (creation or renewal), outlining the role of each stakeholder as a practical exercise in exploring the possibilities of intervention in the development process.
4. Shaping the programming process as enhancing the social function of the museum, through the use of its collection and/or collections using world references and the national ones.

Teaching method
Lectures, on presentation of contents, synthesized in power point presentations and reading some texts of literature compulsory intervention of providing students and debate over the seminar sessions, almost from the beginning. For this also contributes filling and use of information on small chips of diagnostic experience and knowledge of the students on these topics.
Throughout the workshop, students select case studies that investigate and elaborate on which diagnoses and proposed solutions appropriate to the programmatic entity museum investigated, these works presented and discussed in a seminar along the seminar through a schedule of participatory way in view of the progress and development of the investigations.
Evaluation method
Individual work that consists of a single diagnostic report an area of operation or design of a museum, the student investigates through literature and field research as a starting context and rationale of proposed project (re) programming museums. The presentation of the work will be in the end of the semester, thus allowing the student to incorporate the results of their learning during the sessions.
