Objectives
It is intended that students acquire and deepen:
a) Knowledge on the basic concepts of the various theoretical models for regional integration;
b) Ability to analyse according to the various theories of integration: federalism, functionalism, intergovernmentalism, neo-functionalism.
c) Ability to analyse according to the various theories of \"governance\": institutionalism, epistemic communities, \"multilevel governance\"; \"supranational governance.\"

It will be considered as elements of assessment:
a) Participation on the class debate (10%)
b) Critical review of an academic article or book chapter, on the analysis of theoretical models of European integration:
- Synthesis presented and discussed in class (recommended: 15 min.) (10%)
- Written version (max. 8000 characters with spaces, excluding notes), sent by e-mail until 15 days after the oral presentation (30%)
c) Essay on a theoretical model of European integration (maximum of 20,000 characters, including spaces) to be delivered by the end of the semester (50%).
