Teaching method

The teaching methodologies are based on three main activities: 1) exercises designed to apply the key concepts to technical texts, after class explanation; 2) commented translations of previously prepared technical texts, justifying the translational options; and 3) a commented translation of a technical text of average difficulty, which will be the final individual piece of work.

Evaluation method

Assessment will be ongoing, with no final examination, and will focus on three main items, each of which will have the same contribution to the final mark: 1) exercises designed to apply the key concepts to technical texts (30%); 2)commented translations of previously-prepared technical texts (30%); and 3) a commented translation of a technical text (40%).
