Objectives
a). To be familiar with the conceptual support relating Urban planning and spatial development
b). To deepen the knowledge of the legal framework of policy planning (from the EU to the local community scale), in conjunction
with the administrative structure of the country
c). To be able to identify and to understand problems in the field of spatial planning and to play a role in the design of solutions
in different spatial contexts
d). To be capable of assessing the proposed solutions to the different levels of intervention and the results achieved against the
expected results

e). To organize a critical thinking about the evolution of spatial planning public policy and on its current challenges
f). To have knowledge of the theory, the methodologies and the tools of spatial management in a multi-scale logic
g). To understand the role of public and private actors in urban development.

The assessment includes:
a) Written test (60%);
b) Essay on a Spatial Planning Case (40%).
