Teaching method

Mainly lectures by the teacher or by an external speacker, expert on specific issues.
It is normal to find that various students already have an academic and/or professional career and even, that they area experts in certain areas. So it is not unusual that the students themselves bring valuable information to these sessions.

Evaluation method

Evaluation: Written essay (max. 30 000 characters) about an Adaptation or Mitigation issue to be selected form an extensive list supplied by the teacher. Can be produced by 1 to3 students; and its theme can be already aligned with a future Ph.D. thesis theme. Public oral presentation of the Essay followed by debate with teacher(s).
