Schedule
The regime of functioning differs depending on the courses.
The mandatory courses and taught jointly by several institutions have a classroom component and a component of distance learning.
The optional courses run in general-face in a host institution, and distance learning system for students enrolled in other institutions of the consortium.
Education objectives
The PhD Programme in e-Planning has the following objectives:
Graduate studies, in an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspective focusing on areas of knowledge related to integration between information technologies and communication and planning, particularly in the following areas: infrastructure knowledge, e-government, e-governance, e-city and territory, e-citizenship, including a curriculum component (1 year), followed of scientific research work leading to the development of thesis (2 years) and complete proof for the award of PhD degree.
Integration of partner universities in sharing learning and research e-Planning.
Access conditions
a) Holders of a Master´s degree or legal equivalent;
b) Holders of a degree, with a specially relevant academic or scientific curriculum vitae that is recognized as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies by the scientific body statutorily responsiblein the university where they intend to be admitted;
c) Holders of a foreign academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the master´s degree by the scientific body statutorily responsible in the university where they intend to be admitted
