Teaching method
The UC comprises a set of theoretical-practical classes where the main environmental management tools are developed and applied.
Teaching methods are based on theoretical- practical classes where the introduction of fundamental principles and concepts is combined with their application. The practical component includes the oral presentation and discussion of work by the students, simulation games, scenario building workshops, the use of software environmental management software, simulation of environmental audits and the realization of exercises.
Research and autonomous study are strongly encouraged.
Evaluation method
Evaluation:
A. 1st assignment -Presentations based on DPSIR model: 10% (Groups 2/3 students max)
B. 2nd assignment – Life cycle assessment: 25% (groups of 2/3 students max)
C. 3rd assignment- Environmental management systems and audits: 25% (groups of 2/3 students max)
D. 1 Test or exam - 40%
