Objectives
With this course the student have developed knowledge and skills that enable to address real problems in the scope of operations research.
Subject matter

In this course each student will address a real application problem coming from the industry (broad sense) using appropriate operations research (OR) techniques. The OR topics to be treated will be selected according to the problem to be addressed, as well as the academic profile of each student. Theoretical aspects that are relevant to solving real problems, such as modeling, linear optimization, non-linear and entire, heuristic methods, among others, will be addressed. |
