By the end of the course, is envisaged that the student:

•Know how to define and characterize an information system

•Be aware about what industrial engineers and managers need to know about information systems

•Understand how information systems are transforming organizations and management

•Comprehend how Internet and Internet technology is transforming business

•Be ready to address the major management challenges to building and using information systems in organizations
