Objectives
Aims
The main purpose of Quality Management is to provide to students the ability to:
-Easily work in organizations that adopted the Total Quality Management approach;
-Develop, implement, analyse and continuously improve quality management systems;
-Solve problems by using both the basic and the planning quality tools;
-Apply some other quality tools that are quite useful for developing new products and processes and for continuous improvement of existing products.
-Get acquainted with other management systems (environmental management system, occupational health and safety management system, social accountability) and relate them to quality management systems.
Simultaneously, through the teaching and learning practices, the students will develop their skills in problem solving, team working, critical thinking and communication.

Evaluation method
Assessment: 2 quizzes (30%+40%) + 1 teamwork (30%)
To be admitted in the final exam, the student must assure a mark above 9,5 in the teamwork .
To be exempted from the final exam, the weighted average of the marks obtained in the individual assessment components must be above 9,5, as well as the average from both quizzes.
