Education objectives
Responding to the signicance of Information Systems Governance in the organizational structure, this postgraduate program seeks to optimize the role of Information Systems Governance in the value chain of the organizations. It develops leadership skills and addresses the multiple dimensions found in its operational activities.
The program includes a variety of courses, covering dierent dimensions of knowledge in Information Systems Governance, including Architecture, Methodologies and Project Management, IT Governance and People Leadership.
It is particularly aimed at Information Systems managers, or hierarchical positions with direct influence in this field, based on experience and knowledge that they wish to develop.
This program has as its priority the development of skills such as:
- Creating guidelines of top Information Systems with global knowledge in the multiple dimensions of intelligence associated with these organizational units;
- Designing programs of Information Systems Governance with multi-year vision;
- Enabling change management processes, always with a strategic vision.
This program won't be available in the academic year 2018-2019.
Access conditions
The requirements for the applications are: a degree in a compatible field; analysis of the applicants' academic and professional curriculum; and an interview conducted by the Admissions' Jury Panel.
Degree pre-requisites
To earn the postgraduate program diploma in Information Systems Governance, the students complete 8 course units, of which 6 are mandatory and the 2 elective course units will be chosen by the students from a wide range of available course units.
Access to other courses
This postgraduate program gives access to the master degree program in Information Management, with a specialization in Information Systems and Technologies Management, upon the development and presentation of a scholarly thesis, work project or an internship, and the approval of the advisable course units:
- Information Projects Management;
- Knowledge Management;
- Research Methodologies.
Note: the enrollment in the postgraduate program allows the student to enroll in ten course units.
