Teaching method

As a 3rd year course, the focus will be more on the practice of decision making in a complex global setting, through case studies and practical examples, rather than the simple understanding of theories and models. Emphasis is therefore on application of theory in real international management contexts. At the same time, students are invited to make use of theories and models learned in other courses. Theoretical classes will make use of case studies, assignments and videos to introduce theory while inviting critical thinking and class discussion. For each class, pre-readings, video(s) and/or a case-study will be provided for preparation (individually and in group). Students (in groups) will be asked to present their views on the cases, videos and pre-reading (graded). Practical classes will be used to support students in these preparations. To consolidate the learning, at the end of the term, students will be asked to prepare an individual reflection essay on their main insights from the course.

Evaluation method
