Besides the text book, students are provided with slides on topics 1-9.
Teaching method
The entire course is taught using the Case-law method: we begin with simple facts and then discuss the solution proposed by the judicature, followed by the analysis of Member State compliance. Students are taught how to read case-law.
Evaluation method
The Final Exam is mandatory and must cover the entire span of the course. Its weight in the final grade can be between 30 to 70%. The remainder of the evaluation can consist of class participation, midterm exams, in class tests, etc. Overall, written in class assessment (final exam, midterm) must have a weight of at least 50%.
Midterm test: 30% 6/20
Practical classes: ( presentation of cases) 10% 2/20 Final exam covering Topics 1-8= 60% 12/20.
