Objectives

This course will examine the major tenets of corporate social responsibility along with its antecedents and outcomes. It will also discuss the role of business in society and ethical strategic leadership.

Teaching method

This course will employ a variety of teaching methods including case studies, experiential exercises, lectures, individual and group research, written assignments, and presentation. Students are expected to be highly engaged in class activities and discussion.

Evaluation method

The Final Exam is mandatory and must cover the entire span of the course. Its weight in the final grade can be between 30 to 70%. The remainder of the evaluation can consist of class participation, midterm exams, in class tests, etc. Overall, written in class assessment (final exam, midterm) must have a weight of at least 50%.

  • 50% Group Project (15% Presentation & 35% Paper)
